FEATURES GAS LPG/METHANE CATALYTIC PANELS
1. Transformation of calorific power of gas into radiant
energy
2. Total absence of flame
3. Work with any type of gas (butane, propane, methane,
manufactured gas).
The sources of infra-red rays used in industry up until now
are generally fed on electricity, with extremely high costs
and complicated equipment.
Our radiating burners, on the other hand, have the advantage
of emitting infra-red radiation without using flame
through the transformation of heat produced by catalytic
combustion of gas combustibles(fuels).
Catalysts are chemical substances that provoke or accelerate
a reaction without being consumed in the process. In
industrial catalytic panels, gases filter through a series
of highly selective catalysts, they mix with oxygen in the
atmosphere and generate heat in the form of infra-red rays.
The absence of flame makes them particularly safe in
detonating environments; the catalytic combustion takes
advantage of practically 100% of the calorific power of the
gas combustible used with enormous economy of use.
Thus, compared to known traditional methods , our drying
method offers: low installation and use costs, time
reduction, no maintenance ,quality and quantity of
production improvements, uniformity of results, cleanliness,
practicality, safety, regulation simplicity, minimum space
taking, good working conditions for personnel.
The catalytic burners are equipment fitted to transform the
heat produced by the combustion of gas combustibles into
infra-red radiation. They transmit the calorific energy
at the speed of light without use of flame.
Ignition is through electrical energy. An armoured
resistance of 550 watt is opportunely incorporated into the
device. The heat from the resistance raises the temperature
of the catalytic mass, opens the thermostatic valve and
triggers combustion between the gas and oxygen in the
presence of the catalyst. Once combustion at a higher
temperature has begun other catalysts progressively start
working and the combustion becomes complete.
The radiant surface of the burner becomes an emitter after a
few minutes and reaches its full intensity.
The total transformation of the calorific power of gas
into radiant energy with practically 100% the same
calorific power as the gas combustible used.
Infra-red radiation does not produce any photo-chemical
degrading effects on bodies they act on. Combustion products
are CO 2 and water vapour.
THE RELATIONSHIP CO/CO 2 IS PRACTICALLY ZERO.
